Gourmet Shortbread Cookie Recipe

This Shortbread Cookie Recipe Makes a Great Shortbread Cookie Dessert Serve at a picnic or brunch with baked ham from pams-hams.
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
1 cup butter
1 ½ cup plus 2 T sugar
2 ½ cups flour
Glaze Ingredients
1 cup powdered sugar
1 t. almond extract
3 t. water
Instructions
Mix together glaze ingredients. Cut together by hand or mixer to pie crust consistency. Pat into 6 strips (about 3 x 10 inches). Make indented center. Fill with jam. Bake at 350 degrees 10-15 minutes until light golden brown. Drizzle with glaze.
