Basilicata Pasta Salad

This light and refreshing pasta salad uses all-natural Basilicata Gourmet Italian Salad Dressing, Sauce & Marinade to achieve a taste like you have never experienced. This fresh sweet and sour basil based sauce used as a seasoning in the pasta salad recipe will be the hit at any picnic, barbeque or family function this summer.

 

 

  • 12 oz Farfalle, Rigatoni, Cheese filled Tortellini or favorite dried or frozen pasta

  • 2 tbsp. of oil (olive or canola)

  • 1 cup diced multi-colored sweet peppers

  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese

  • 1 small can of sliced black olives (drained)

  • ¾ cup of chopped fresh veggies (your choice)

  • Fresh cracked black pepper (to taste)

  • 6-8oz oz Basilicata gourmet salad dressing & sauce (add more or less to taste)

Boil pasta AND DRAIN THOROUGHLY. While still in colander, pour oil onto pasta, mix until pasta is evenly coated and transfer to bowl, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until cool. After pasta is cooled, add additional ingredients, toss and return to refrigerator covered. Let marinate for one hour in refrigerator and then enjoy!
