Lobster Stew
made w/
Whole Maine Lobster
from
Look's Gourmet Food
Company
This is the recipe that the
president of Look's Gourmet Food Company's mom uses to make the most
fantastic Lobster Stew! It's quick and easy and with Look's Whole Maine
Lobster on hand, you can make it anytime! Serve with a Garden Salad and a
crusty bread and you have a great gourmet meal! This same recipe also makes
a great Maine Mussel Stew - just substitute (2) cans of Look's Maine Mussels
for Lobster.
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped celery
1 small clove of garlic, minced
1/2 stick of butter
3 cups milk, cream, half & half, or vanilla soymilk (if lactose intolerant!)
2 cans
Look's Whole Maine Lobster (preserve
the juice!)

· On medium heat, sauté onion,
celery and garlic in butter.
· Add Lobster (cut into smaller
pieces, if desired, but we like the large pieces!)
· Thoroughly coat Lobster in
butter mixture.
· Add preserved juice from cans of Lobster
· Add milk, cream, half & half or soymilk
· Heat gently until hot, but don't let mixture boil (it will toughen the
lobster)
Serves 4 (maybe!)
