How will I be able to find specific products
or merchants?
There are three principal ways for online shoppers to find products or
merchants at GourmetFoodMall:
- Browse through our many mall "floors". We have
over 40 floors that represent a particular category of products. Each floor
has a category home page with featured merchants, products, articles and
recipes all focused on that product category.
- Search for specific products or brands. If you
are looking for a specific product or brand you can use our Power Search
function which was specifically developed for the gourmet food,
specialty food, and gourmet product industry.
- Search our merchant directory. Our merchant
directory contains an alphabetical listing of all or our merchant webstores.

If you have questions about a particular product, please contact the merchant
directly. Each merchant has their contact information available in their
webstore. If you have been unsuccessful in contacting the merchant, please let
us know so we can investigate.

How do I use the mall-wide shopping cart?
Our "mall-wide" shopping cart allows you to select items from multiple merchants
while only having to checkout one time. It is quick and easy to use. After you
browse through the mall and add items to your shopping cart, you simply click
"continue to checkout" and our shopping cart wizard will walk you through each
step. Our "mall-wide" shopping cart features include:
- With one-click anywhere in our Mall you can
easily review all of the items that you have in your shopping cart,
- You only have to provide your credit card
information one time, at checkout,
- All charges are listed upfront so you know
what you are paying for prior to inputting your credit card information,
- You can have products shipped to multiple
recipients, multiple addresses and even use multiple credit cards, all in one
checkout, and
- You can add gift messages or give special
instructions to each merchant.

Does Gourmet Food Mall stock the products?
No. When you shop at Gourmet Food Mall you are shopping with each individual
merchant. Each of our merchants are responsible for maintaining their inventory
and fulfilling their orders. Gourmet Food Mall provides the functionality for
our merchants to flag their products if they become temporarily unavailable. You
may see from time to time an "out of stock" button where the "add to cart"
button is usually located. Please contact the merchant directly if you have any
questions.

It is very safe to use your credit card at Gourmet Food Mall. Gourmet Food

Why do I have to sign in?
Safe shopping and Privacy are the two best reasons. Our mall-wide shopping cart
allows you to easily select items from multiple stores while only having to
"checkout" one time. The sign-in process allows you an easier, more secure, and
more pleasurable shopping experience. You are able to:
- Save time by moving more quickly through the
checkout process
- Save your shipping and billing information -
no more retyping every time you place an order
- Track your order. You can check the status of
your orders from the My Account section
- See your order history, and
- Allows us to keep an eye on your order from
the time it is placed to the time it is delivered

Online shoppers that need to change their address, email or any other contact
information please Log-in and go to My Account. Here you can maintain and update
your current profile.

Password problems / Can't sign in
Returning shoppers - You should Log-in by clicking the "log-in" link at the top
right hand corner of the web page. If you are having trouble signing on, please
click the "Forgot your password?" link. If you forgot your username, you may
have to re-register as a new shopper.

Am I going to receive unsolicited emails if I
register?
No. Our Privacy Policy precludes us from sharing any account information to
third parties. Periodically, GourmetFoodMall will send an email newsletter to
inform you of new products, merchants or seasonal specials.

Each merchant determines if they require a minimum order. Please visit the
merchant webstore or contact the merchant directly for details.

How will I know if the merchant has received
my order?
When you place a credit card order you will receive a confirmation email from
GourmetFoodMall. When the merchant "settles" the order you will also receive an
email indicating that the order has been settled and the necessary order
tracking information. You can also check the status of your order in My Account.

regarding an order?
You should contact the merchant directly. Each webstore has the necessary
contact information for that merchant.

What is GourmetFoodMall's role in fulfilling
orders?
All orders are placed directly with each merchant and fulfilled by each
merchant. GourmetFoodMall's role is similar to the landlord at your local
shopping mall … we bought the land, built the facility and we are leasing space
to our tenants (merchants). For your convenience we also provide a "mall-wide"
shopping cart for credit card orders. This convenient feature allows you to
select items from multiple merchants while only having to checkout one time.

What is your warranty policy?
Each of our merchants has their own warranty and return policies. We require our
merchants to clearly state these policies in their webstore. In addition,
Gourmet Food Mall requires our merchants to comply with our safe shopping
guarantee. Please contact the merchant directly and they will be able to answer
any warranty or return questions.

policies?
Each merchant has their own shipping rates and policies, which are clearly
disclosed in their webstore. If you have any questions regarding their shipping

Do I have to pay sales tax on my order?
The decision to charge sales tax is determined by each individual merchant. In
most instances, sales tax is not charged. However, we require each of our
merchants to post a sales tax policy in their webstore so you will know prior
to ordering whether all or part of your order may be subject to sales tax.
GourmetFoodMall does not calculate sales taxes in the “mall-wide” shopping cart.
If the merchant determines that sales tax is required to be charged on your
order, you will receive a confirmation of the sales tax charge when your order
is settled by the merchant. If you have any questions regarding sales tax please
check the policy sections in their webstore or contact the merchant directly.
